toy store Hamleys is a fantastic store for young and old. There is a lot to experience in this 5-storey building filled with toys. There are demonstrations on every floor. On the ground floor, for example, an employee is throwing airplanes through the store that miraculously keep coming back into his hands. On another floor, the drones fly around you. You are really short of eyes and ears.
The oldest toy shop in the world was founded in 1760 by William Hamley as “Noah’s Ark” in High Holborn, London. In 1881 it moved to its current location on Regent Street in London’s West End.
